Ubuntu Behavioral Mental Health Community Action Team partnered with the AKA, Kappa Omega Chapter for a second year to host a lunch and learn for the South Fulton community recognizing Mental Health Awareness on May 21, 2024.
The theme of the event was, "Generational Effects of Social Media on Mental Health and Wellbeing." We were pleased to have Sonder Health Plans, Centerwell Home Health, Odyssey Family Counseling Center and Axxess Benefits as our sponsors. There were more than 70 engaged participants. Some of the feedback included: "The atmosphere was very warm and inviting." "It was as if we were in our living room chatting with loved ones."
